  • Vilas Pool Park FYI: Due to the decision by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to completely close NH Route 123a / Acworth Road for construction this summer, the Vilas Pool Park will be closed to the public for the 2026 season.

  • Burn Permits FYI: Burn permits are required for open fires on your property. Burn permit information is on the Fire Department web page. ​​

  • Employment Opportunities: The Alstead Select Board needs to appoint a new Emergency Management Director, find a new Health Officer (which the State will appoint), and a Municipal Cleaner. Click here for more information.​​

  • Town-wide safety alert system FYI: Genasys is a Town-wide safety alert system that has replaced the now inactive "Code Red" system. It will be available to all town residents in the near future. This service is free to all Alstead residents, but you must sign up at one of the meetings, which will begin sometime in June.​​

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Land Clerk FYIBuilding permits, Intent to Cuts, Exemptions, Current Use, Abatement info, Subdivision Plans, Updates to Tax Cards & Deeds, and Lot Line Adjustments are now being handled by the Land Clerk, Sharon Iozzo.
