Part - Time Transfer Station Attendant
Accepting applications for the position of Transfer Station Attendant. This is a part time fill-in position. Possible hours of 8 to 10 hours per week.
Under the general supervision of the Alstead Select Board and Transfer Station Department Head, the transfer station attendant is responsible for monitoring and organizing trash and recycling collection areas, manual labor associated with transfer station activities and up keep and payment processing.
Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, current State of New Hampshire Solid Waste Facility Operator Certificate is preferred but willing to train right candidate. Good customer service skills and the ability to work well with others and town officials, basic computer skills, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Equipment operator experience preferred.
